Spread the word – May 13th is the Really Really Free Market Day

Bring what you can – Take what you need!
Transition Liverpool is a community response to climate change. Rather than waiting for others to fix things for us, we develop our own initiatives to improve the quality of life in our city.

By developing more sustainable ways of living in Liverpool, we aim to reduce our use of dwindling resources and reduce our impact on the environment and therefore improve wellbeing.

Our current programme is concerned with recycling and sharing and with the possibilities of mending and fixing goods instead of throwing them away.

The forthcoming events are around the sharing and circular economies.

/////

May’s event is a sharing “market” where people can bring unwanted clothes, books and other goods and other people can take away.

This is one aspect of creating a sustainable and local economy and community. We also hope to learn about the different activities of other community groups involved in these kinds of activities in the city

There will be free food and drinks at 6.30 and the event will finish by 9.30

Junes event will be about Make Do and Mend and will showcase upcycling and repurposing your stuff 🙂
