Members of Transition Liverpool may already be familiar with HighTide, an  artist-led initiative that describes itself as seeking to “nurture a creative culture of sustainability and eco-logical consideration of our lives in a rapidly changing world”.

They have recently launched a new venue for eco-culture in Liverpool – EDGEspace – provided by The Art Organisation who’ve also made the Kazimier and Mello Mello possible.

Their most recent exhibition was a beautiful collection from the Environmental Photographer of the Year 2009-2010 competition. The pictures were stunning and thought provoking and hopefully others at TL were able to see them.

Next up is an Eco-Fair this Friday and Saturday, as part of Climate Week. See here for more information on the project.
