In January 2015 Transition Liverpool sought the support of Network of Wellbeing and Friends of the Earth Wellbeing Team to facilitate a discussion in Liverpool to address the holistic wellbeing needs of the community. Read these blogs by Bernie Kennedy of WEA and Steph Rooney to get a sense of what was discussed.

Since 2009 the Transition Liverpool Wellbeing group developed a resource that led to this initiative which aims to promote an integrated view of health and sustainable living. Demonstrating that health actions often have sustainability effects, that sustainability initiatives often have health effects, and that these need to be understood to maximise health, wellbeing and sustainability benefits. It will also utilise locally the Marmot Reports and the WHO Health Policy, Health 20/20 as well as Green Economics approaches to Healthy Places and to Sustainable Communities:
